I introduce today the first of various updates meant to make access to the main results and trends of the big taekwondo competitions easier (the only martial art in the database… for the time being).
From now on, every nation has its own page, where you can find:
- The list of all competitions which its athletes took part in, with an indication about the current results trend;
- The bar chart of all the results obtained to date for a competition (by default, the most recently held event, but you can choose any of them);
- The possibility of comparing the historical results for various competitions (and finding any correlations);
- Some general information about the federation.
While we are on the subject, for many countries it’s actually not that easy to find updated data (like the number of practicing members of the federation) from official sources. If by any chance you have such numbers or stumble upon them, please send me an email with a link to the source!
